The Diocese of Strasbourg is one of the biggest dioceses in France: 210 km long, up to 70 km wide, with dozens of great peaks and neighboring valleys, and great cities spaced far apart, and of fingers of Alsatian territory penetrating into Lorraine territory. Unless immense sums are spent (in millions of francs), it is impossible to cover all of this geographic reality with a Christian radio station. The eventual selection of one territory [for a station, to the exclusion of other diocesan territories] is not in the diocese's pastoral logic."
